This is a low-noise thinking platform dedicated to interdisciplinary depth and high-quality knowledge transfer. Our foundations trace back to the Metzdowd Cryptography Mailing List — the historic forum that brought together the sharpest minds in cryptography from the late 1990s onward, and where Bitcoin was announced to the world in January 2009.

The quality of dialogue that was once accessible only to a select technical circle is what we are rebuilding here — open to all, but uncompromising in its standards.
